This is a major red flag, it signals you are hard to work with, do not trust teammates, and cannot collaborate, which matters as much as technical skill. It turns a teamwork question into evidence you avoid teamwork.

What if your only teamwork is from group projects or clubs?
That is perfectly valid for an entry-level interview. A group project, hackathon, or club shows the same skills, communication, compromise, shared ownership, the interviewer cares about how you collaborate, not the setting.
How do you talk about a conflict without trashing the other person?
Focus on the situation and the shared goal, not blame. Show you listened to their view and worked toward a resolution. Badmouthing a teammate signals you would do the same about future colleagues, which is a bigger red flag than the conflict itself.
